Brian Imrie, Chairman and Owner, Debro, Inc.
Mr. Imrie is the Chairman and owner of Debro Inc., a privately owned chemical distribution company. Between 2009 and 2012, Mr. Imrie was Partner and Global Head of Mining M & A for KPMG Corporate Finance and was responsible for creating an integrated global mining advisory team based in over ten countries overseeing in excess of $500M in mining transactions. Prior to working with KPMG Mr. Imrie was Managing Director and Co-Head of M & A for National Bank Financial for seven years (2001-2008) and was responsible for numerous high profile mining transactions. Mr. Imrie has also worked with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Mr. Imrie received his MBA from Harvard University in 1987 and his BA from the University of Toronto in 1983.
Bert Whyte, Independent Director
Bert Whyte has held a variety of positions during his career, including President and CEO of Network Equipment Technologies (NET) www.net.com, and President of Advanced Computer Communications (ACC), both of California. Mr. Whyte successfully restructured NET to become a leading player in the emerging broadband and IP voice markets. Prior to this, Mr. Whyte turned ACC into a market leader in IP routing which was eventually acquired by the giant Swedish Telecom company Ericsson for just under US$300M. Mr. Whyte was also one of the early employees of Newbridge Networks Corporation, a company founded by Terry Matthews and subsequently sold to Alcatel. Mr. Whyte has been active in the investment community, and has participated in a number of mergers and acquisitions over his career.
Dr. Richard Nottenburg, Executive Partner, OceanSound Partners
Dr. Nottenburg has spent his professional career focused on communications technology and infrastructure. He is currently Chairman of Q-Sensei Corp., a Big Data search and analytics company. He is also on the boards of directors of Verint Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNT), a global leader in Actionable Intelligence® solutions with a focus on customer engagement optimization, security intelligence, and fraud, risk and compliance and Sequans Communications SA. (NYSE: SQNS), a leading provider of 4G LTE semiconductor solutions for the Internet of Things and a wide range of broadband data devices. Previously, Dr. Nottenburg was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonus Networks (now doing business as Ribbon Communications, Inc.) and held various senior executive roles at Motorola, Inc., including Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer. At Motorola, Dr. Nottenburg oversaw all corporate transactions and Motorola Ventures. Previously, Dr. Nottenburg served on the boards of directors of PMC-Sierra Inc., Aeroflex Holding Corp., Anaren, Inc., Comverse Technology, Inc. and Violin Memory, Inc. Dr. Nottenburg received a Ph.D. from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, an M.S. from Colorado State University and a B.S. from New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering, each degree in the field of electrical engineering.

Steve Andrews, WBA Alliance Board Advisor & Founder Abbey Barn Communications
Mr. Steve Andrews has over 25 years as an executive in the communications industry, spending the greater part of his career to date with British Telecom (BT). He transitioned from BT in 2009 to pursue his career as a Technology Investor, Advisor and Non-Executive Director, Steve has extensive experience in business management, M&A, customer engagement, telecom operations and product development. He is also a Board Advisor to Wireless Broadband Alliance which formulates industry strategies for WiFi and related technologies.
Chris McGillivray, Advisor, Western Market Development
Chris McGillivray is an accomplished financial and real estate industry executive with 20+ years’ experience in the industry. Chris has maintained leadership roles with some the largest financial and mortgage investment firms on Canada’s West Coast with a focus on complex, high value investments of $5 to $50 Million. Chris has lead and structured multiple public and private equity financings and is a strong advocate for Made In Canada’s resource, technology and agriculture investing. Chris has maintained multiple board and advisory roles with some of Canada’s most innovative and promising start-ups.
Andrew Skafel, President & CEO
Responsible for leading Edgewater Wireless, Andrew’s broad strategic perspective comes from his work with both multinational equipment vendors and a number of start-up network operators. Andrew has significant multinational experience. He was based in Asia for seven years where he worked for Newbridge Networks/Alcatel; Silicon Valley-based, InterWAVE Communications and the Commercial Division of the Canadian High Commission (Malaysia). His roles included strategic marketing, international business development and business planning. A proven telecom innovator and leader, Andrew founded an innovative GSM operator in Brasil, taking the project from concept to fundraising, license acquisition and launch phases. Mr. Skafel holds an MBA from INSEEC (Paris), a graduate diploma from the McRae Institute of International Management (Vancouver) and a BA in Economics & Politics from the University of Western Ontario.
