Edgewater Wireless Welcomes NEEPS Ingeniería as New Channel Partner in Mexico
Edgewater Wireless Expands Presence in the Americas for WiFi3 Technology
OTTAWA, CANADA and MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – July 11th, 2012 – Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc., (YFI; TSX.V) a leading developer and manufacturer of 802.11 wireless communications equipment, is pleased to announce that it continues to grow its presence and expand its distributor network in the Americas. Edgewater Wireless and NEEPS Ingeniería have signed a channel partnership agreement for the distribution of Edgewater Wireless’ WiFi3-enabled multi-channel access point products in Mexico.
For over twenty-two years, NEEPS Ingeniería has provided system integration and distribution of turnkey networking solutions, including optical fiber, LAN/WAN, microwave and Wireless LAN (WLAN), into the Mexican education, carrier, healthcare, and manufacturing markets, as well as into mid-size Enterprise and government agencies. NEEPS’s customers include Televisa (the largest mass media company in Latin America), Pemex (Mexico’s state oil company), Telefonica Movistar (a major carrier’s fixed and mobile brand in Spain and Latin America), IBM, Procter & Gamble, IUSACELL, ICA, Avon, Telcel, Red Uno, Grupo Angeles, Grupo Posadas and others.
