Cable industry validation of Edgewater Wireless WiFi3™ moves to next stage of Fiterator

(YFI; TSX.V), the developer of WiFi3™, is pleased to announce today that the company has advanced through to the next stage of the UpRamp Fiterator program after successfully progressing through the initial stage of technology evaluation and validation for the global cable/broadband industry. Edgewater’s WiFi3™ is a next generation, multi-channel WiFi technology for high-density & high-interference environments.
The exclusive UpRamp™ Fiterator program accelerates technology companies in the advanced stages of product completion and availability to establish product and market fit in the $500 billion cable industry. Since initiating the program in August 2016, Edgewater Wireless’ business and technology team are rapidly engaging with executive leadership from many of the world’s largest cable MSOs (multi-service operators) including: Comcast, Midco, Charter, Shaw Communications, Liberty Global plc (United Kingdom) and others, to understand the applications of WiFi3™ technology within the cable/broadband industry.
Edgewater Wireless is now entering the next stage of the Fiterator program: technology engagement. In this stage, Edgewater Wireless will be working with Multi-Service Operators (MSOs) over the coming weeks and months to deploy the company’s technology in real world applications. The scenarios will include large venues, enterprise and multi-dwelling units (MDUs) focused on solving high density challenges of interference and capacity.
