Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Senior embedded software Engineer. The successful candidate must be a hands-on problem solver who is able to work independently and produce high quality software.  As part of a small team of technical experts they must be dedicated, able to communicate effectively and thrive in a fast paced environment. Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior embedded SW developer you will:

  • Develop and improve high quality embedded software
  • Contribute you expertise to software design architecture and feature design
  • Participate in engineering design reviews

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years experience developing embedded Linux software/drivers
  • Multi-threaded/multi-core embedded systems
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. LUA, Python)
  • Detailed knowledge of WiFi 802.11 b/g/a/n protocols and drivers (e.g. madwifi )
  • Experience selecting/importing and installing Linux opensource software packages
  • Experienced with the use of traffic generation equipment (e.g. Ixia) and network sniffers such as Wireshark
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of the OpenWRT Linux software infrastructure
  • Experience with small cell antennas (e.g. Omni, directional, MIMO) and power zoning
  • Detailed knowledge of enhanced WiFi protocol specifications (e.g. 802.11s/i/e)
